In 2011, England host both Sri Lanka and India. Sri Lanka will play three npower test matches, a NatWest Twenty20 international and a NatWest Series of five one-day internationals. India will then play four npower test matches, a NatWest Twenty20 international and a NatWest Series of five one-day internationals.

During October, England embark on a return series of five one-day internationals when they tour India. They also fit in a Twenty20 international. In early 2012, the UAE is the venue for England's series of three test matches, four one-day internationals and three Twenty20 internationals, against Pakistan. There follows a tour to Sri Lanka for two test matches.

The summer of 2012 is massive for English cricket. First we see the West Indies tour party in England. As well as matches against the county sides, they will play England in three test matches, three one-day-internationals and a T20 international. The Australians then pitch up for a series of five one-day internationals in June and July. The South Africans are the next visitors in July through until September. During that period they face England in three tests, five one-day internationals and three T20 internationals. An exciting year ends when England participate in the ICC World Twenty20 tournament in Sri Lanka before they embark on a three month tour of India over the winter of 2012/13.
